Review: The Vintage Tea Party Year by Angel Adoree

Every now and again a book comes along and knocks you off your feet.

Angel Adoree's second publication The Vintage Tea Party Year (Mitchell Beazley) is one such example. From the tiny fairytale windows (what a delightful little touch) to the gorgeous, sumptuous, photographs throughout. It really is something very special indeed.

Again Angel casts her spell and takes us into her vintage world.  Once again there are printables for invitations and decorations to help you set the scene.  Not only this she even shows you how to look the part with easy to follow hairstyles and accessories to make.

The book takes you on a journey through twelve months of parties, of course you don't have to regimentally stick to these, you can dip in and out and create your own celebration tea from all this wonderful inspiration.

The recipes are simple and stylish all with Angel's trademark twist.  We  loved turning each page to see the  original and unusual displays and styling that had been used. We particularly loved the suggestions for Bonfire Night. Toffee Blackballs how delicious do they sound? And Guy 'Forks' Marshmallow Brownies - yes please! If you have little ones how about a wonderful circus tea party with potato ships, candy carousel and double chocolate moustaches that they will remember forever.

If I am honest we had approached this book with trepidation after her first book The Vintage Tea Party was so good.  We didn't think she could match it but by golly she has this book is even better.

The perfect gift for vintage lovers and foodies alike.

The Vintage Tea Party Year by Angel Adoree (Mitchell Beazley) is RRP £20.

We recieved this book free of charge for review but all our opinions are honest and our own.
