Review: Fancy a FruitBroo?

11:11 am

I'd like to tell you about a new type of tea on the block, one that comes in a bottle (!), but believe it or not still manages to taste pretty darn good.

FruitBroo is the brainchild of Mike Brehme, the man who previously set up Clipper teas, they are specially blended fruit drinks designed to be served hot. At only 15 calories a cup and no caffeine they are a healthy choice for your cuppa. Best of all they they come in cute little bottles (100ml £2.25 RRP) just big enough for 15 cups, and small enough to pop in your handbag or even in your pocket.

We were sent two
(there are six in total) flavours to try Lemon and Ginger and Apple, Ginger and Spice. We found the apple flavour simply delicious, full of warm apple and cinnamon flavours, but the lemon FruitBroo was unfortunately too tart for us, though it might work well in a hot toddy. The drinks were really easy to make, just two teaspoons in a cup and pour the water over, hey presto! As well as tasting good they smell good too with the apple variation reminiscent of cosy Christmas markets.

At just under 17p a cup they are an affordable treat and would make a great stocking filler too.

FruitBroo available to buy at Sainsbury's or direct on the FruitBroo website.

We were sent FruitBroo free of charge for review but as always are opinions are totally our own.
