It's good to share the Rowntrees way

6:10 pm

We have to say us folks at Dormouse and The Teapot are big sweety fans,  So when the lovely folks at Rowntrees offered us a taste of their new share bag range, well how could we refuse ?

Rowntrees was formed way back in 1881 with Fruit Pastilles being one of the first varieties on offer (the red ones are our faves)  this was followed by Fruit Gums in 1893 (green and yellow ones for us please), much later Tooty Fruities (1963) amd Jelly Tots (1967) joined the family.

You might remember the eccentric Randoms a couple of years ago, well Rowntrees newest editions are along a similar vein.   Nice soft jellies and plenty of variety.  There are three new selections, Jelly Aliens, Sour Faces and Very Berry Jellies.  We were lucky enough to try the whole range.

Mr D loved the Jelly Aliens and these were gone in no time whilst I adored the Sour Faces, they were very fizzy and sour.  All three varieties were very fruity with the Sour Faces and Very Berry Jellies containing a very impressive 50% fruit juice.  Little D didn't get so much as a look in as mummy and daddy rudely gobbled up the lot but he did have a lot of fun playing with the colourful and nicely designed bags which he chased all over the room.

After all its good to share....

Rowntree share bags are available from all good supermarkets and sweet shops.
