If you have been watching Channel 4 recently, you might have noticed Honda's beautiful mini-documentaries starring real-life customers who use their Honda products in unique ways.
Led by advertising agency Weiden + Kennedy, the first film Alpaca farming features Philippa, a breeder in Oxfordshire, who tends to the animals on her farm using her trusty Honda ATV. The films, of which there will be four in total, highlight owner’s warm and sometimes quirky personal experiences of using Honda products either for fun or as a necessary part of their daily livelihood. They are being shown as part of Honda’s sponsorship of Channel 4 documentaries with the campaign running on screens and online throughout 2011.
You can view the films again in all their glory at their amazing online hub here and discover Honda's favourite stories or share your own tales for a chance to appear on the box yourself. Just upload details of how you use your Honda product and the favourite example will be turned into the final mini-documentary and turned into idents for TV.
Sadly I don't drive, but if I did and had a Honda ATV, I would use it to bring vintage mobile teas to the remotest of areas. I would roll up at 3pm laden with beautiful china, sandwiches, scones and cakes spark up my Honda generator, pop on the kettle and provide traditional afternoon treats to surprised hikers. After all, it’s good to dream a little, isn't it?
