Festive cocktails with a twist at Opus One
9:45 amIf you are looking for a festive treat, but short on time, why not pop down to the Opus One Bar at the Radisson Edwardian Manchester where they will mix you up a special winter cocktail from their new menu.
Each cocktail is themed on tea blends and rich coffee roasts, and contains a mix of flavoured spirits and luxury liquors. You can choose from the following - Almond Coffee, Chocolate Dream, Orangiata Coffee, Warm Pear Coffee, Vanilla Vodka Coffee and White Surprise (£10 each). Each is served with a luscious homemade mince pie. It's like Christmas in a glass and ideal for an after work catchup with friends or a nightcap after a trip to the festive markets.
If you have longer to stay Opus One are also offering a Festive Afternoon Tea (£14.50pp). The menu offers a selection of tempting cakes including chocolate torte, carrot cake, fruit cake and spiced rum chocolate éclair. Fresh homemade Seville orange and marmalade scones and sweet cranberry scones are also served with clotted cream and preserves. Savories include a roast turkey and thyme jam on bloomer, Mrs Appleby’s Cheshire cheese on malted bloomer, smoked salmon, cream cheese and cucumber on rye and roast beef and horseradish on bloomer.
