If you are looking for a (very) last minute present for Valentine's day chocolate is probably the way to go.

Don't think however that a bar of fruit and nut will do, it has to be something with a bit of class and out of the ordinary.


We recently tried these delicious white chocolate and strawberry hearts from Divine and they were.  Sweet and creamy with a delicious crunch and real taste of strawberry - just delicious.  Perfect for the person you love (that includes yourself of course)


I must say that we also love this company.  First of all not only do the the Kuapa Kokoo farmers receive a Fairtrade price for their cocoa, but they also own 45% of the company, and therefore have a direct influence over how the company is run and share in the profits from the chocolate.  Secondly the quality of their chocolate is fantastic. it tastes great and is reasonably priced it's also great in baking


The hearts are currently available from Waitrose at £3.99 where they are also available in dark and milk chocolate varieties. Watch out though you might have to fight us for them.
