There are days when I simply love writing and this is one of these days. 

Today I get to tell you about one of the best afternoon tea books I think I have ever come across.  High praise indeed?  Yes, but fully deserved.  Angel Adoree's The Vintage Tea Party Book is a masterpiece of creativity.  From bunting sandwiches and coddled eggs, to fantastical deserts like something out of a weird and wonderful dream. There is a surprise around every corner. 

You might remember Angel from Dragons Den a while ago she persuaded two of the dragons to invest in her business The Vintage Patisserie. Well since then Angels brand has gone from strength to strength and this is just another illustration of her talent and style.

The book is the perfect companion to  tea no matter what time of day it is. It is split into recipes for eclectic brunch, afternoon, and evening tea parties.  As well as cooking up a storm, you are also invited to get crafty with easy to follow how to guides and templates for gorgeous invitations.  

It is obvious that Angel Adoree loves her job too and for that I am thankful. Her book is beautifully illustrated throughout by the talented artist Adele Mildred and would make an amazing gift if you can actually bear to part with it.
