If you are are a regular reader you will know that the Dormouse Garden Hideaway is now nearly complete and the work will soon start to move in.

This is the exciting bit, its a lot like playing Wendy Houses, plans are afoot for lovely curtains and a comfortable day bed as well as a desk area and lots of storage.  This shed has elastic sides for sure.

The nicest thing about having an outside room is the garden itself, it is getting a little late in the year now but next year will see an eating area complete with homemade pizza oven (get us) and a play area for Little D , an orchard and chickens (there is also talk of ducks). I am excited.

I am also excited as we will be popping off to the Southport Flower Show later next week.  We are hoping to gather lots of ideas for planting as well as doing a bit (well a lot) of shopping along the way.  The show's theme is Vintage so it is our cup of tea so to speak and we will be bringing you previews and highlights along the way, complete with an interview from Stacie Stewart queen of the Beehive Bakery who will be baking up a storm there.
